The West Fair & Rodeo Association is proud to serve the historic town of West, Texas, nestled in Central Texas between Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin. For decades, we’ve been home to one of the most exciting and community-focused annual rodeos and fairs in the region, celebrating local heritage, family fun, and true Texas spirit.

WHAT WE DO
Every second weekend in August, the West Fairgrounds come alive with:
- A thrilling pro rodeo competition
- Mutton bustin’, barrel racing, and bull riding
- Local food vendors, live music, and carnival attractions
- A welcoming space for friends, families, and visitors from across the state
Whether you're a longtime West resident or just passing through, we invite you to experience the West Rodeo tradition for yourself. Our facilities are also available year-round for private events, fundraisers, and community gatherings.
Our Mission
Our mission is straightforward: to unite the community through family-friendly events, celebrate our Western heritage, and offer a platform for youth development, agriculture, and entertainment. We are a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization committed to creating unforgettable experiences that support local causes and showcase the heart of small-town Texas.
Location and Directions
We are located in the heart of the city at 1111 S. Main St. If you are coming from out of town, take the Main Street exit off the highway and follow the signs to West Fair & Rodeo Association. Parking is available on-site.
